| Abstract: | This Article explores the evolving landscape of public administration in response to socio-economic transformations, technological advancements, and changing governance paradigms. It emphasizes the growing convergence of public and private sectors through Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) and highlights the increasing role of public administration in policy formulation. The article underscores the importance of morale and ethics in public administration, stressing the need for higher ethical standards among public officials. New goals of public administration, such as emphasizing human-centric approaches, fostering people’s participation in decision-making, and ensuring good governance, are explored. Additionally, the article discusses the integration of e-governance to improve efficiency, the concept of development administration, and the application of New Public Management (NPM) techniques that emphasize economy, efficiency, and effectiveness. It also highlights the relevance of the human relations approach and decentralization in enhancing administrative effectiveness. The conclusion advocates for re-examining traditional public administration principles by incorporating gender perspectives, environmental concerns, human rights, and social equity, ensuring relevance to contemporary societal needs. |
