| Abstract: | This paper explores the evolving dynamics of India-Canada relations, analysing the historical, political, economic, and cultural factors that have shaped the bilateral partnership. The study highlights key challenges, including geopolitical tensions, policy divergences, and diaspora-related issues, while emphasizing opportunities in trade, technology, education, and climate action. It evaluates recent developments in diplomatic and economic engagements, providing insights into the potential for strengthening strategic collaboration. The paper concludes by offering a forward-looking perspective on fostering mutual understanding and building a robust partnership to address global challenges and enhance regional and international stability. The India-Canada relationship has indeed been resilient and multidimensional despite the political shocks the two countries have gone through lately. Obviously, deeper economic, political, and security connections are at stake for both countries; that would be a factor of how domestic pressures and geopolitical churning are managed. The nature of change in this relationship demands an imperative strategic path through differences that enables both countries to emerge stronger in the rapidly interdependent world. |
