Abstract:Massive change is being witnessed in the modern international system into a new multipolar system with the question of representation, inclusiveness and equity being rejuvenated. Even though the connection between India and Global South has been traditionally analysed in terms of non-alignment as well as strategic independence, the civilizational character of contemporary Indian internationalization has gained relative lack of research. In this case, one of the intriguing questions is the notion of Vishal Bharat that can be described as the emerging normative, developmental and dialogical India that is projecting towards the Global South. This paper aims to discuss the connotation of the number of international platforms and initiatives that the Indian country was involved in (development partnerships or Voice of Global South Summit) to conclude that there was a shift to the concept of global governance by the more inclusive and dialogue-based concept. Through a qualitative research design of analysing the discourse and practice of India in the foreign policy, the present paper will believe that the new directions of India in the international scene are hinting at the shift to the cooperative development, amplifying the voices of the developing nations, and offering the inclusive entry into the multipolar world. Placing these processes within the broader context of Vishal Bharat, the paper is a contribution to the existing discussion on the subject of global governance within the framework of inclusive processes and the role of India as a facilitator of dialogue-based global cooperation in a shifting world order.
