| Abstract: | Reading is the process of expressing own opinion and thinking in a very systematic way; it involves some aspects to make meaningful words. These are decoding, comprehension, fluency etc. Reading together with learning are foundational skills that significantly influence a learner’s academic journey and overall development. At primary level, learners begin to build the essential capability that guide their future educational experiences. However, many learners face challenges in acquiring these skills, leading to reading and learning errors. This research paper, developed on the basis of both primary and secondary data, particularly aims to explore the causes behind these errors among young learners at primary level, focusing on various interrelated factors that contribute to difficulties in reading and learning and providing possible solutions for the same as well. |
