| Abstract: | Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly reshaping the landscape of international relations and foreign policy decision-making. Governments across the world are integrating AI technologies into diplomatic processes, intelligence analysis, strategic planning, and national security frameworks. The growing reliance on algorithmic systems has significantly enhanced the ability of policymakers to process complex data and anticipate global political developments. However, the adoption of AI in foreign policy also raises concerns regarding ethical accountability, technological rivalry, algorithmic bias, and the militarization of emerging technologies. This paper examines the evolving relationship between artificial intelligence and foreign policy by analysing how AI influences diplomacy, global power competition, and international governance structures. The study also explores the opportunities AI provides for predictive analysis and strategic decision-making while highlighting the risks associated with technological dependency and cyber vulnerabilities. The paper argues that while AI can enhance the effectiveness of foreign policy, the absence of global regulatory frameworks may intensify geopolitical tensions. Therefore, international cooperation and ethical governance mechanisms are essential to ensure that AI contributes to global stability rather than strategic conflict. |
