Abstract:Indian foreign policy, this approach to defining determinants of India’s foreign policy. It is influenced by a number of factors namely: history and culture, geography, development level, security interests and foreign relations. In addition, non-alignment, strategic autonomy, and India’s active participation in multilateral forums have shaped its foreign policy. Most notably, the Indian diaspora and the soft power of the country itself served to enhance the status of India around the world as well.
